Podcast

In the late summer of 2020 my two great friends and I took our love of our Gen X childhoods to the airwaves and started a podcast (naturally)!

The Pop Culture Preservation Society is a podcast dedicated to preserving and elevating the unsung pop culture nuggets of the classic Gen X childhood. Were you there when Marcia broke her nose? Tiger Beat delivered the news? And John Travolta was stuck in that plastic bubble? Then this is the podcast for you!

Join me and my friends Carolyn and Kristin — all die-hard members of the Big Wheel Generation — as we discuss and dissect the crushes, clothes, books, movies, songs, tv and toys that shaped our youth.

Season One episodes include discussions on Shaun Cassidy, 70s Christmases, 70s sad songs, Judy Blume books (and a deep dive into Forever), the movie Ice Castles, the Bee Gees, Flowers in the Attic, Little House On The Prairie (several episodes!), ABC Afterschool Specials, and more!

Listen via our website, on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Google!

And make sure you’re following all the Gen X nostalgic fun on social media — our Instagram page is an especially fun community!
